These characteristics make it ideal for heavy duty applications that demand long term reliability. Such demanding applications include industrial (cid:36) power supplies, motor control, and similar (cid:36) (cid:46) mission-critical systems that require rectification and freewheeling. These diodes also fit into (cid:55)(cid:50)(cid:16)(cid:21)(cid:21)(cid:19)(cid:36)(cid:38) (cid:46) (cid:55)(cid:50)(cid:16)(cid:21)(cid:21)(cid:19)(cid:41)(cid:51)(cid:36)(cid:38) auxiliary functions such as snubber, bootstrap, and demagnetization applications.
