The mixer utilizes two standard Hittite M double balanced mixer cells and a 90 degree hybrid O r fabricated in a GaAs MesFeT process. A low frequ- i ency quadrature hybrid was used to produce a 1000 . MHz UsB iF output. This product is a much smaller s r alternative to hybrid style image reject Mixers S e and single sideband Upconverter assemblies. The x HMc1041Lc4 eliminates the need for wire bonding i and allows the use of surface mount manufacturing M B techniques.
