AZ1117C LOW DROPOUT LINEAR REGULATOR Description Features The AZ1117C is a low dropout three-terminal regulator.  Current Limit: 1.35A (Typ)  Output Noise from 10Hz to 10kHz: 0.003% of VOUT The AZ1117C has been optimized for low voltage where transient  PSRR at IOUT = 300mA and f = 120Hz: 70dB response and minimum input voltage are critical. It provides current  Output Voltage Accuracy: ±1% (Except 1.2V Version) limit and thermal shutdown. Its circuit includes a trimmed bandgap  On-chip Thermal Shutdown reference to assure output voltage accuracy to be within ±1%. On-  Maximum Quiescent Current: IQMAX = 6mA chip thermal shutdown provides protection against a combination of  Compatible with Low ESR Ceramic Capacitor high current and ambient temperature that would create excessive  Operation Junction Temperature: -20°C to +125°C junction temperature.  Totally Lead-Free & Fully RoHS Compliant (Notes 1 & 2)  Halogen and Antimony Free. “Green” Device (Note 3) The AZ1117C is available in 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V fixed output voltage versions and ADJ output voltage version. The fixed versions integrate the adjust resistors. It is also available in an Applications adjustable version which can set the output voltage with two external resistors.  USB Device  Add-on Card The AZ1117C is available in the industry-standard TO252-2 Series  DVD Player (including TO252-2 (3), TO252-2 (4), and TO252-2 (5)), SOT89 and  PC Motherboard SOT223 power packages. Notes: 1. No purposely added lead. Fully EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2) & 2015/863/EU (RoHS 3) compliant. 2.
